Swansea,South Wales - Drug dealer Junior Greenaway jailed for distributing Class As to Swansea, Neath and Port Talbot

Junior Greenaway was sentenced to 10-and-a-half years at Swansea Crown Court
A DRUG dealer has been jailed for more than 10 years for arranging the distribution of large quantities of cocaine, crack and heroin in Swansea and Neath Port Talbot — from his house in London.
Junior Greenaway was taken down following a detailed three-month covert operation involving officers from South Wales Police and the Metropolitan Police.
Greenaway did his distribution at arms length using a system known as "running county lines", where dealers in big cities like London and Birmingham target towns and small cities, running drug telephone "hotlines" that people can call, and arranging drug deliveries and dispatching local dealers to fulfill the orders.
Greenaway, aged 22, of Larmans Road in Enfield, North London, had previously pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply the Class A drugs when he appeared for sentencing at Swansea Crown Court. He was sent down for 10-and-a-half years.
Speaking after the sentencing South Wales Police detective inspector Stuart Johnson from the Swansea and Neath Port Talbot Intelligence unit said Greenaway had been intent on making money with no regard for the misery he was causing.
He said: "This is another positive result for law enforcement and the communities we serve.
"South Wales Police and other agencies will identify and take positive action against those who arrange and deal drugs within Swansea, Neath and Port Talbot.
"Clearly the individual involved in this case had no regard for the law and was intent on making large sums of money from his distribution activities, with no consideration of the terrible impact his actions were causing on individuals, families and the communities of Swansea, Neath and Port Talbot.
"As part of his criminal activities Greenaway targeted and preyed on the most vulnerable people in our community.
"Thanks to a complex and protracted collaborative investigation with the Metropolitan police, we have removed a dangerous drug dealer from our streets, which is reflected by the term of imprisonment imposed."
He added: "We are committed to targeting organised criminals and I would like to take this opportunity to thank the public for the information that we received and again appeal to all, that if they have any information that can help us then please come forward."
