Two Gwynedd men who admitted sexual offences against a “vulnerable” under-age girl have both been jailed.
Dale Rowlands, 25, of Parciau, Mynytho, Pwllheli, pleaded guilty to eight offences of making and possessing indecent images and a count of possessing cannabis with intent to supply. He was sent to prison for three years and three months.
Caernarfon crown court heard on Tuesday that he was arrested after explicit messages were found on the teenage girl’s mobile phone. Prosecutor Matthew Corbett-Jones said she had sent videos and images to Rowlands.
Kevin Radcliffe, 23, of Morfa Garreg, Pwllheli, pleaded guilty to inciting a child to engage in sexual activity on May 18, namely to film and send an indecent movie of herself. He was locked up for 32 months.
The prosecution said social media conversation was the evidence against him.
Sexual harm prevention orders were made against the two men and they must register as sex offenders.
A third defendant, Aaron Roberts, 25, of Glan Cymerau, Pwllheli, admitted possessing cannabis with intent to supply and was jailed for a year.

Judge Merfyn Hughes QC said he was “more heavily involved” than Rowlands in the drugs business and operated it from his home.
The judge said 4,500 text messages, which were mostly drug-related, were found on Roberts’ mobile phone.
Rowlands’ barrister Dafydd Roberts said he had limited previous convictions and was a labourer.
Elen Owen, defending Radcliffe, said the effect of the case on him was “quite marked”.
At first he thought the girl was 17, she said.
His guilty plea involved one comment which he appeared to regret immediately and nothing was sent to him.
Roberts’ counsel said he had worked in his father’s building business.
Judge Hughes said the girl was “particularly vulnerable” because of her age and personal background.
He told Rowlands: ”When she grows up and realises what she agreed to do on your behalf, she will be horrified.”
The judge said a pre-sentence report indicated Rowlands didn’t accept full blame and neither did Radcliffe.
Speaking after the sentencing, District Inspector Dewi Jones said: “We welcome the sentences imposed on these three.
“North Wales Police are committed to ensuring that people feel safe, secure and unthreatened by crime within their home and in public places, and we will actively pursue offenders who cause harm within our communities.”
