Penniless Alexander Jones wanted to carry on his all day bender so stuffed cider and wine down his trousers

A supermarket which spotted a man stealing bottles of booze refused to put them back on the shelves as they’d been down his pants.
Alexander Jones, of Crescent Road, Wrexham , had wanted to continue an all-day drinking session but had no money, so went into the Tesco in the town and stuffed the wine and cider down his front.
Although it was recovered, he was charged with theft as staff said they couldn’t put it back on the shelves because of how he’d concealed them.
The 24-year-old pleaded guilty to theft and had to pay Tesco £8.38 compensation for the drink.
