A MAN has pleaded guilty to unlawful wounding following a stabbing incident in Flintshire in August.
Wayne Davies, of Bryn Mawr Road, Holywell, appeared in custody at Caernarfon Crown Court to enter his plea.
Richard Edwards, prosecuting, said it was a domestic incident in Holywell after both parties had been out for most of the day.
They had drunk an extensive amount of alcohol and it was also suggested the accused had taken cocaine.
Edwards was charged with wounding Deborah Scott and defence barrister John Philpotts agreed “both parties were highly intoxicated”.
Davies was not in a position to form any intent but did accept he must have acted recklessly.
Judge Geraint Walters said he would order a pre-sentence report so he knew more about Davies' background.
