A man has appeared in court after the alleged incident last month

A 26-year-old man has been charged after the attempted robbery of a Cardiff bank.
Jack Freeman, of no fixed address, has been charged with attempted armed robbery and possession of an offensive weapon.
It relates to an incident at the Halifax Bank on Albany Road in Roath on August 20.
A force spokesman said he has appeared in front of magistrates and has been remanded in custody.
His next court appearance will be on September 30 where he will appear at Cardiff Crown Court.
