A man has been arrested and released after a woman was injured in Caerphilly county.
Gwent Police said the man, 30, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after an incident at Waunllwyn Crescent, Blackwood, on Saturday and has since been released.
The local woman, 26, was taken to Cardiff's University Hospital of Wales, where she is in a stable condition.
Police said the investigation continues.
