Police searching for a 21-year-old man who went missing after a night out in Swansea have found a body.

Jordan Miers, 21, a children's football coach, was last seen on a footpath near the River Tawe in the city at about 22:30 GMT on 20 December.

Officers were called to Swansea marina at 10:18 GMT on Friday following the discovery of a body in the water.

South Wales Police said Mr Miers' family had been informed.

Police divers, dogs and a helicopter searched the area from Park Tawe retail park, where he had been seen, to his home in Bonymaen.

Family and friends also conducted their own searches
